cosmetic skincare+ making – When you think of beauty tips, do you think of the sweet stuff? I like to have a chocolate facial every once in a while. And then there are the sugar scrubs, the spice wraps and the vanilla steams.

All that stuff tends to be expensive. I didn’t even get a full massage and my last spa visit cost me over 150 dollars. Luckily, there are quite a few ways to give yourself the same sweet treatments in your own home. The basis for these delectable facials and masques? Of course it’s honey.

Here is a list of a few things you an do at home with honey that will leave you feeling luscious and beautiful:

* Honey Do Beauty Tip #1: Be bubblicious. - When you add a cup of honey to your bubble bath it will leave your skin so soft. Exfoliate with a loofah while you’re in there for extra creamy, glowing skin. If you want to take a milk bath, much like Cleopatra, just add 4 tablespoons of whole milk powder to your bath. Of course, any time you bathe in edible products, be sure you rinse off really well when you are done.

* Honey Do Beauty Tip #2: Layer it on. - You can whip egg whites, honey and flour or unsweetened cocoa together to make a thick paste. Heat your skin with a hot cloth for 3 minutes to open up your pores. The put the mask on. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Then just wash it off with warm water and love your fresh and youthful skin.

* Beauty Tips Using Honey #3: Create your own silky-skin toner. - Put a half a cup of honey, 2 cups of buttermilk and a half a cup of rosewater in an airtight container and mix together. A Tupperware with a screw-on lid works great. Shake up the mixture until it is thoroughly blended. It will be runny and a cloudy color. You can apply it with a cotton ball for tight, toned skin.

Use the highest quality honey for these treatments. For less than 20 dollars, you can get a good-sized jar of organic honey that has not been treated with chemicals or preservatives. You can use this for your honey do beauty tips for months to come.
